This course is designed to produce a professional medical laboratory scientist capable of performing various analysis of biological specimen (Blood , Urine, and other body fluids ) at different level of hospital, diagnostic centers and laboratory setting. The first year course focuses on basic science and foundational subjects, the second year course focuses on basic laboratory subjects and third year is given to the application of learned skills and knowledge within the comprehensive practical setting, in hospitals and medical laboratory.

Admission Criteria

Based on merit through entrance procedure as per CTEVT and interview conducted by the institution, Students having SEE equivalent with not less than 2.0 GPA average score in aggregate and for SLC equivalent with not less than 45% average score in aggregate and for TSLC equivalent with not less than 68.33% average score in aggregate are eligible to appear in the entrance procedure. Health certificate form a registered medical practitioner will be required at the time of admission.

Attendance

Ninety percent attendance is compulsory both in theory and practical/clinical sessions.
